| Up in a big balloon,
We'll fly much higher than birds ever try
And we'll wave to the sun and the moon.
Looking below us the earth moves as slow as
things usually do in our dreams.
The breeze makes the trees sway
both this way and that way,
They're waving at us so it seems.
Up in a big balloon...
We keep our eyes open wide over the countryside
looking for old Farmer Brown.
He's there on the road with his
tractor all loaded
With crops for the shops in the town.
Up in a big balloon...
Flying, flying, flying so high
As we wave our friends and neighbours "Goodbye".
Flying, flying, flying so high
As we bump our heads on the sky.
Now over the town it's just like looking down
on a map coloured brown, green and blue.
We rest on the tower of the
church for an hour
And the weathercock says "How d'ye do?"
